Three years later, in China, the return of the Lizard (now with 100% more Laser)

Back in March of 2008, I posted an entry about a conversation I had with one of the representatives of NAVO, the tour company that was helping me plan my itinerary for driving in to China. What's strange and funny is that I had a nearly similar conversation with a booking agent for a hotel in Hong Kong. Here's how I related the incident to my Executive Admin Katie during a recent chat on Skype:
